Mommybites - Support, Resources, Education and Connection for Moms

My two daughters (3 and 5) have been taking swim lessons on and off since they were eachimagineswimming about nine months old. But it wasn’t until taking lessons this summer at Imagine Swimming that they were both able to swim without any flotation device.

Imagine Swimming is a special place – from the moment you walk into the facility, it feels welcoming to both kids and families. The walls are painted with colorful drawings and there is a play area with toys where the children can wait for their teachers to pick them up for their class.

Both of my daughters were in classes that had only three students, so they had plenty of attention from the teachers, as well as an opportunity to watch and be motivated by their classmates. Parents are able to watch their kids through a glass wall, which made it so much fun because we could wave and take photos.

By the end of the summer, my three-year-old was swimming a few feet unassisted, and my five-year-old swam across the entire pool! I am absolutely thrilled that my kids have been empowered to be in the water and look forward to a lifetime of swimming.

The U.S. Swimming Association has recently declared swimming the #funnestsport and I know that my two daughters could not agree more!
